What is the difference between Aromatherapy and Essential Oils?
Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic essential oils for sensory and therapeutic benefits.

Essential Oils are fragrant, highly concentrated, volatile plant extracts found in the leaves, flowers, fruits, roots, seeds and bark of plants.

How are Essential Oils used?

Essential oils are highly concentrated and need to be used with care. The general rule is to add them to natural lotions, creams
or carrier oils, such as sweet almond, jojoba, sesame, hazelnut or grape seed oils before applying topically. Essential oils can be
blended together to create your own unique aromas and therapies.

Skin and Hair care Ideas:
Luxurious Bath Experience – Add 8-10 drops total of your favorite essential oils to bath water, less if skin is sensitive, Stir water to disperse evenly.
General Skin Moisturizing – Add 8-10 drops of essential oils to 1 ounce of carrier oil or unscented natural lotion, use less if your skin is sensitive. Massage –  Add 10-20 drops of essential oils to 1 ounce of carrier oil. Use less if skin is sensitive.
Hair Care – Add essential oils to unscented natural shampoos and conditioners. Use 10-20 drops per ounce.

Household Ideas:
Counter Spray – Use 8 total drops per 2 cups water.
Laundry – Add a few drops of favorite essential oil to final rinse cycle, adding the oil to water and not directly on clothes.
Air Freshener – Add favorite essential oils to diffuser, Make air mists with 8 drops of essential oil per 2½ cups of water.
