This is because the FDA requires all over-the-counter drug products, including sunscreens, to undergo stability testing. Products that pass 3 years of real-time stability testing no longer need an expiration date, as they are proven to remain stable for at least 3 years.

This product has passed the 3-year stability test, so an expiration date is not required.
